About Us

Old Coast started on Panhandle beaches, chasing pompano in the surf. We later settled near Tampa and brought that same habit with us — early mornings, a handful of rigs, and the belief that surf fishing should feel simple.

We were raised on that beach. Before the first rig ever went in a bag, we were taught to read the wet sand and dig sand fleas by hand. That is still how we think about the water. Find the bait. Mimic what the Gulf already gives you. Keep it that simple.

We are not trying to fill the shoreline. We just want that feeling to travel — the first cast in moving water, the wait, the pull. If someone else gets hooked the way we did, that is the whole point.

The beach is good to us. This is how we pass it on.
